Show allAs a place of knowledge and education, the Château de Prangins puts on a wide range of activities for students aged four and upwards and their teachers. Activities can be led either by our experienced cultural mediators or independently by you, as teachers, using educational materials linked to the curriculum of French-speaking Switzerland (plan d’études romand, PER).
We offer an interesting complement to the curriculum, linking up with many disciplines (history, visual arts, natural sciences, etc.). Workshop visits, guided discoveries and games introduce students to various topics in an interactive and entertaining way.
Please book your visit with our reception team from Mondays to Fridays 9.00 to 12.00.
Various educational materials (teaching plans and kits) related to the curriculum can be downloaded free of charge. These allow you to look at many topics before, during and after your visit to the museum and to help your students learn, in an independent and fun way, about the various aspects of the Château de Prangins. For a self-led visit, all you need to do is inform us of your group on arrival (see Information section).

Thanks to the garden interpretation centre and its permanent exhibition, the largest kitchen garden in Switzerland can be visited all year round! Support for teachers offers suggestions for a preparatory classroom session, as well as ideas and activities for independent work in the museum.
