Show allNotice to teachers! Did you know that admission to the Castle of Prangins - Swiss National Museum is free for all students accompanied by their teacher? That one guided activity is also offered per day and per student and that, if a second activity is desired, it is offered for the whole class at the price of CHF 80.00?
So don't hesitate to take advantage of the wide range of activities for teachers and pupils from the age of 4. These activities can be carried out by our experienced cultural mediators or by you, the teachers, independently, using educational materials linked to the curriculum of French-speaking Switzerland (plan d’études romand, PER).
Newsletter
Our newsletter for schools (in French) informs you regularly about offers in education and mediation:
Discover various facets of Swiss history from the 18th century to the present day by visiting us! Admission to the Château de Prangins - Swiss National Museum is free for all students in training, accompanied by their teacher. A guided activity is also offered per day and per student and, if a second activity is desired, this is offered for the whole class at the price of CHF 80.-. Please book your visit with the reception service, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Various educational materials (teaching plans and kits) related to the curriculum can be downloaded free of charge. These allow you to look at many topics before, during and after your visit to the museum and to help your students learn, in an independent and fun way, about the various aspects of the Château de Prangins. Interesting complement to the school program, our offer is linked to many disciplines (history, visual arts, natural sciences, etc.). Visits-workshops, discoveries or games raise students' awareness of various themes in an interactive and entertaining way. For a self-led visit, all you need to do is inform us of your group on arrival (see Information section).
