Show allMost of the jewellery collection dates from the 18th to the 21st century. The collection also includes foreign pieces, provided they were worn in Switzerland. The collection of jewellery items from the 20th and 21st century is being expanded. Of particular interest are the collection of jewellery to be worn with traditional folk costumes and the international ring collection from the Alice & Louis Koch Foundation (permanent loan).

Switzerland is considered the home of the clockmaker’s art. The Museum therefore aims to maintain a representative cross-section of the timepieces produced over the last 500 years; the core competence in this field lies with the clock museums in Geneva, La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle.
