The exhibition

Switzerland in 2021 as seen by photographers

Denis Balibouse’s winning photograph evokes, unsurprisingly, the most publicised meeting of the year 2021 between Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin! Despite the blurred hand of a security guard, this image won the award because it reveals the backstage of this carefully staged historic moment.... It thus offers a different view of world events, like the approximately 90 other photographs in the Swiss Press Photo 22 exhibition presented in the categories of News, Daily Life, Swiss Stories, People, Sports and World.
